Case Study: Psychotherapist Web Design
Rachel Karnovsky, Psy.D., a clinical psychologist based near Madison Square Park in New York City, envisioned a website redesign that reflected her current practice, conveyed trust and warmth, and provided prospective patients with helpful, transparent information about her services.
We connected Rachel with a local NYC photographer and provided them with guidance on how to photograph Rachel. We wanted to capture Rachel in her element, the environment where she’d be seeing clients, and the Madison Square Park neighborhood where it was located to help with her local SEO.
Process and approach were important to Rachel, and important for optimization. We employed elements of the StoryBrand framework by including the 3-step process on her service pages, and described the approach, which helped with keyword targeting and optimization.
Easy calls-to-action and FAQs for SEO were implemented throughout the site, with an FAQ toggle and consultation form added to nearly every page
